Special delivery!

I've been meaning to mention this for a while now, but as usual, I've been extremely busy!
I got a lovely package in the post the other week, from my friend Jade which I absolutely LOVE!

Oh yes! It's Katy Perry for O.P.I! I absolutely LOVE them.

Also, on a less positive note, I have noticed how inconsistent my blogging has become. And, to be honest, it is mainly down to my workload. I have exams coming up soon, and I simply don't have the time. So, I've come to the conclusion that I won't be blogging much at all for a few weeks, as revising will be my priority. There may be a post or two every now and again, but it is unlikely that this will happen often. And, once my exams are over, I can blog to my heart's content!

Puppies, Mohawks, and GTL!

I am a HUGE fan of Glee and Jersey Shore, so since it's half term, I've been catching up on all the new episodes online. As far as Glee goes, Sue Sylvester is amazing and I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Puck - alright, I LOVE him! So, I thoroughly enjoy catching up on one of my favourite shows, and seeing Puck's lovely face just makes it a million times better. Although, I'm not quite sure what to think of his new relationship developing with a certain 'larger than life' lady. Jersey Shore's new episode was up too. First of all, thank god Sam left, because she was so annoying! I love Pauly D and Vinnie's bromance so much, and Snooki and J-Wow never fail to entertain. They all just make my week!!

On a less positive note, my dog, George had to have an operation on friday, and had to have stitches and everything. It is so sad, he cries and he can't play or run about. They had to put two extra stitches in because he is so excitable! So, to stop him from getting at his stitches, he has had to wear this plastic cone collar thing, and he hates it! He keeps walking in to things and getting caught, and although it is slightly amusing, it is also quite upsetting to watch. So, let's hope he gets better soon!

Also, I just realised that I haven't posted one photo of my beautiful pup on here! So, here he is!

Sorry for the lack of quality in some pictures. I swear he is so much cuter in real life.

It's all good!

First of all, I have conditional offers from all of the universities that I applied for! I am so happy, especially considering the fact that I thought I'd failed one of the interviews!

Also, I have a new purse which I am loving at the moment.

I have been meaning to show you my curtains for a while now too, as I made them myself! My mum bought a new house about a year ago, and I am FINALLY getting my room done! I recently had mirrored wardrobes fitted and a new floor and somewhere along the way I had the idea of making my own curtains, so I got some white voile-ish material, and I made my own drawbacks too! I was feeling creative, and they look really good in my room. I have also been selecting some of my favourite vinyl records to put on my walls, because we have so many, and as a music lover, I have developed a bit of an obsession with them. Once my room is all done, I will show you what it looks like, however at the moment, the walls are just plain white, and I only have a bed and wardrobes...

I have also discovered my love for savoury rice recently too, when I made my own dinner. I have had it before, but this one was so nice, I've been craving it ever since! It was delicious.

Birthday!

This weekend was extremely eventful for me! On friday, a friend of mine had a house party, so I got to wear my new Pixie Lott dress from Lipsy! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo but I will do in the near future!

Then, on saturday, I had some of "the girls" round for drinks, and then we went in to town afterwards, which was good! And I could finally face the fear of getting "ID'd" by the bouncers, as I am now, in fact, 18!!!

Here are my lovely new shoes from Topshop too, which I LOVE!

Sunday was a really relaxing day for me, as it was my actual birthday day. My mum cooked us an amazing dinner, and I opened my presents!

I got some jewellery, an ipod touch, money, and lots more!

Also, I thought I would show you this beautiful photo frame that one of my amazing friends gave me! She gave me so much lovely stuff, she is amazing! This is the friend that I went to NYC with not long ago! So, she gave me a few different pieces of makeup from our trip, and then this photo frame, with a picture of us in New York from one of the best days we had there! It was an amazing gift so I thought I'd share that! I love her!

So, that's it really! And now it's half term!!! So happy that I have a whole week of getting up in the middle of the day, completely guilt free!

Life was good...

Hello! Long time, no post. So, I had a uni interview thing today, and I don't think I could've failed more miserably. The thing is though, I think I've reacted quite well considering; I'm generally not bothered. In fact, the only emotion I feel towards it is guilt about the fact that I don't care! I know, it's terrible. It wasn't always this way. This time last week, I had offers from three of my uni choices, then I had an interview last week, and got an offer from them, so that was 4/5. Everything was going just great... until today.

So, I arrive half an hour early, confident, well dressed, and prepared... or so I thought. For this specific uni, I had to do a written test. Usually, I am good with words, and tend to do well with written exams, and as nobody knew what sort of test this would be, we couldn't prepare. I came out convinced I had got EVERY question wrong. But, seriously, I don't know who they think we are! I'm sorry but NO, I don't know the third most common language spoken in Belgium, and NO, I don't know how many of the most popular newspapers are sold daily, or whether Slovakia are members of the EU and what their governmental policies on health and education are... so apologies to whoever has to mark that exam, hopefully they'll have a sense of humour, or maybe mine will get lost along the way.

Stress!

So, I am completely stressed out at the moment. Not only do I have uncountable amounts of coursework and essays to be doing, but I also have my first university interview on wednesday! I am so nervous. What do I wear? What do I say? This is all so new to me, I don't know where to start.

Other news:

It was my friends birthday yesterday - and by friend I mean more of an acquaintance. I suppose we used to be friends, but for the past couple of years I think the friendship is long gone and moved on. She went for a meal with her group of friends, and then some people went back to hers for drinks. As it was her 18th, my friend and I decided to pop in to say happy birthday, and it was definitely worth it. To say it was a life changing experience is an understatement. I was attacked by her cat. One of her friends, who is conveniently nicknamed 'Dad' to us, performed his own rendition of the TIME WARP! Yes, you heard correctly. In the midst of this fun filled 30 minutes, I also managed to have a drink spilt on me, and was attacked again - this time from a human. A certain guest decided to give me a hug. Now, you may think that this is normal party protocol to hug one another. Not this party. Not only were me and my friends nowhere near close to being a part of their friendship group, but I definitely did not think we were on hugging terms - our relationship was nowhere near developed enough - we were more awkward smile and wave phase. All in all, my time spent in her house was eventful to say the least, and it will definitely be a night to remember.
