So, I arrive half an hour early, confident, well dressed, and prepared... or so I thought. For this specific uni, I had to do a written test. Usually, I am good with words, and tend to do well with written exams, and as nobody knew what sort of test this would be, we couldn't prepare. I came out convinced I had got EVERY question wrong. But, seriously, I don't know who they think we are! I'm sorry but NO, I don't know the third most common language spoken in Belgium, and NO, I don't know how many of the most popular newspapers are sold daily, or whether Slovakia are members of the EU and what their governmental policies on health and education are... so apologies to whoever has to mark that exam, hopefully they'll have a sense of humour, or maybe mine will get lost along the way.

Life was good...
Hello! Long time, no post. So, I had a uni interview thing today, and I don't think I could've failed more miserably. The thing is though, I think I've reacted quite well considering; I'm generally not bothered. In fact, the only emotion I feel towards it is guilt about the fact that I don't care! I know, it's terrible. It wasn't always this way. This time last week, I had offers from three of my uni choices, then I had an interview last week, and got an offer from them, so that was 4/5. Everything was going just great... until today.

Stress!
So, I am completely stressed out at the moment. Not only do I have uncountable amounts of coursework and essays to be doing, but I also have my first university interview on wednesday! I am so nervous. What do I wear? What do I say? This is all so new to me, I don't know where to start.
Other news:
It was my friends birthday yesterday - and by friend I mean more of an acquaintance. I suppose we used to be friends, but for the past couple of years I think the friendship is long gone and moved on. She went for a meal with her group of friends, and then some people went back to hers for drinks. As it was her 18th, my friend and I decided to pop in to say happy birthday, and it was definitely worth it. To say it was a life changing experience is an understatement. I was attacked by her cat. One of her friends, who is conveniently nicknamed 'Dad' to us, performed his own rendition of the TIME WARP! Yes, you heard correctly. In the midst of this fun filled 30 minutes, I also managed to have a drink spilt on me, and was attacked again - this time from a human. A certain guest decided to give me a hug. Now, you may think that this is normal party protocol to hug one another. Not this party. Not only were me and my friends nowhere near close to being a part of their friendship group, but I definitely did not think we were on hugging terms - our relationship was nowhere near developed enough - we were more awkward smile and wave phase. All in all, my time spent in her house was eventful to say the least, and it will definitely be a night to remember.

More from NYC
I am still yet to show you everything I bought from New York, so here's some more...
Bag: Bloomingdales
Top: Zara
I also got these boots from Nine West, because my dog chewed the inside of my beloved military boots! I must admit, having had them for a couple of years now, I've definitely got good use out of them. (As much as I love these new boots, I will still try to wear my old ones - perhaps when there is less walking to be done).
My old ones...
More stuff to come soon, I'll try and keep updated, however, I have lots of work these next few days, but I'll try my best!

Mac App Store.
So, it's nearing 12.15 (waaaay past my bedtime), however, I have an excuse! Apart from revision, and collecting photos for this lovely blog, I have been fiddling around with the Mac App Store. Those of you who actually read my blog (which I doubt is many), will know that I've had a Macbook for a while now. Little did I know what amazing things could be done on this magnificent piece of machinery! I absolutely love the apps, and have been installing all sorts, all night! Hopefully the novelty won't wear off too soon!
A bit late, I know.
I know this is like 2 weeks too late, but I was meant to do a post on this around Christmas, unfortunately, I forgot. Basically, my amazing friend made us all personalised cards this year, and I think this is the BEST card ever! All my friends got different ones, they were so creative. I love her! So, thank you, even though it's too late!
Anyway, I'll hopefully be posting soon, I'm just all over the place at the moment! I have had exams recently, but once they are over, I will definitely catch up, and stay organised!
Sophie says... SORRY!

Quick Update
Happy New Year!
I'd personally like to welcome you to 2011, I hope everybody has a fantastic year!
I'm so sorry I haven't updated in FOREVER, but I have been so busy, and I've had SO much work to do.
Once I have the chance, I will post everything else I got in NY, and what I got for Christmas! But for now, as I am short for time, I will just give you a little update on my life.
I saw the movie Love & Other Drugs the other day, simply for the fact that I LOVE Jake Gyllenhaal. The film was good, but I didn't really know what to expect because I only briefly new the storyline, so I was surprised to find that the first half of the film was basically people having sex. Nevertheless, it was a good storyline, well acted, and made me laugh quite a bit, so all in all, quite good.
Other news; a while ago I did a post on X Factor. Now, as the show is over, it's probably a bit strange for me to be bringing this up. The reason for this, is because I miss it, weirdly enough. But more to the point, I miss One Direction! Now, before you get all cynical on me, NO I am not a squealing fan girl type, or one of those 'Beleibers', or whatever they are called. However, as much as I would hate to be thrown in that category, I love One Direction, and specifically Harry Styles. I know, it's terrible. I follow them all on twitter, and I find them so funny, and down to earth, (and gorgeous), I can't help but love them. So, I am going to dedicate this post to telling you exactly why I like them so much.
First of all, Harry Styles. Need I say more? I wouldn't say he is 'fit' or 'hot' but just adorably cute. He has the most beautiful face I think I have ever seen. Not only does he have the most perfect smile, with the cutest dimples, but he has lovely curly hair, and amazing eyes. Then add in his cheeky personality and sense of humour which I fall for each and every time, and his 'Bromance' with his bandmate Louis Tomlinson, and you basically want to marry him. Now before you ask, I am 17, and although Harry is a bit younger than me, turning 17 very soon, I can't help it! Louis, I find very funny, and Niall is extremely cute (if not, slightly cheesy). Then there's Zayn, who has quite the handsome face, and Liam Payne, who seems quiet but nice all the same. I think this whole love for them is because they are so normal! So, SORRY for being a fan, but I just love them, it's like a disease!
Moving swiftly on, in case I embarrass myself further, I had an incredible Christmas and New Year, and I will be updating very soon, hopefully.
